Like you, I'm one of the rare people on this forum that actually question BB, his staff and front office moves.

Meanwhile, for some reason, the Colts have the Pats number and I'm one of the few that think the Colts are in the Pats' heads. If the Pats avoid the Colts in the playoffs, they will make the super bowl. However, if they meet for the AFC title game, it wouldn't shock me if the Pats lose (even though I think they're better than the Colts) after losing 5 out of the last 6.

Unfortunately, even if you're right, people are still going to post that nonsense and praise every move BB makes.
1. First of all, you're a much better poster than the OP.

2. Do you actually disagree with 9 out of 10 moves that the Pats have made since 2005? A span in which they're 46-12 and have made some great trades and draft picks?

i dont know about the "in bill we trust" moniker but say everyone starts saying .."we dont trust bill anymore" what is the solution ? hire mangini ?
in bill we trust can also mean that he is the best chance we have to be competitive .make right decisions most of the time not all the time. if you dont trust bill what is the alternative ?
that is what i want to know with people being bothered about trusting BB.

Exactly ... Bill's not 100% but he's the closest thing to it in this generation of coaches. What coach on what team makes more right calls? It's not an exact science and the other teams do have good coaches with good players who happen to make good plays also ... just hopefully one or more less per game.

I understand where you're coming from, but I don't take credit even when things are going well. For example, there are times when the Pats score a touchdown by throwing the ball around the 5-10 yard line but I'd rather see them run the football. There are times when the Pats run that shotgun draw on third down and get the first down, but I don't agree with the call. In addition, I don't like how they throw the football so much as they put their offensive tackles on an island. But if you're wondering, I agreed with the BB decision to go for it on 4 and 2 even though it should've never come down to that.

1. Thanks.
2. Maybe that 90% was an exaggeration but it sure seems like it to some people on this forum.

I probably should've included it in my original post but there is no other coach in the NFL I'd rather have over BB.

The problem with Sunday is that the 4th and 2 was "wrong" because it didn't "work". That's fundamentally different than than the decision to be judged irrational. Based on the odds, the decision was sound because the course to it was rational. Make the the pass and game over. It's not like we punted on first down.

This is based on my beliefs:

I have no doubt we made that first down.

The real problem was calling off the dogs after we were absolutely hammering them for 3 1/2 quarters. It's interesting how much of mediotdom has pointed out how superior and dominant the Pats were in the game.

I still would have punted because it would have been a great test for the young players to get the challenge.

The loss is way overrated. Absent calling off the dogs, no fan should question the Pats ability to go to Indy and hammer them in January if required.

The Colts will be one and done in the playoffs so I doubt we get that chance.

If I loose, i'll do the following things:

1- I'm going to donate 50 US dollars to this forum in addition to 100 USD to BB or Kraft charity foundation.
2- I'll give you a chance to humiliate me here.
3- I'll publicly apologize for not 'trusting' BB.

If i win, i don't need your pathetic apology and i will not say a word about your loss BUT you are going to do 2 and only 2 things:

1- You are going to drop 'In BB we trust' BS in addition to any words which describe how awesome, smart, or whatever BB is.

2- You immediately STOP calling people X and Y for questioning BB or TB or giving any stupid excuses for not winning a championship.

If you accept my challenge, you put your name and say whatever you want here. In the end, we are going to know if your trust is any good or you are simply an ignorant homer.

You either put up or shut up. Yes, i'm willing to put up more to prove my points. Are you willing to accept my challenge? Do we have a deal?
You're trying to snatch candy from babies. With a 1-3 road record and
coming off a crushing loss, I can't imagine the Patriots are favored to
win the AFC championship any longer. Unless they screw up badly,
they should win the AFC East.

Hmmm...I think I'm just going to go with continuing to dismiss the OP as hyper-critical, unrealistic, unappreciative and quite possibly not actually a fan of the Patriots. Anyone who's with me, feel free to raise your hand!
