OT: ESPN analyst Steve Phillips busted for extra-marital hijinks - New England Patriots Forums

Just saw that ESPN analyst Steve Phillips got in trouble today. Apparently he was engaging in kinky activities with another ESPN employee although he's married with kids. ESPN has no 'official comment' except that they let him take time off to take care of his personal business. Hmm, the standards of sports journalism keep dropping, huh?

That's their private life or sexual private life or what ever you call it.

I do care about the quality of the articles writing , reporting and investigating.

Lots of things are sports related. That's one of the reasons Ian has provided so many different forum options for members here to post to and discuss them all...

This one could be baseball related or relegated to the pub...since it's about a former failed MLB GM turned baseball analyst caught having an affair. And it doesn't even have a NE connection like the former NBA coach who once worked here...

+1. This kind of thing happens everywhere, for better or worse. This is sad, but it really has very little to do with ESPN. Their problem is crappy reporting. The Letterman situation is similar, his affairs have nothing to do with why I don't like him, his show's bad writing has everything to do with it.
