Ya I'm a hurricane buff and this past season was just unreal, we had the by far most named storms AND the most hurricanes, the first time we'd ever exausted the names list. The most intense hurricane ever recorded in the Atlantic Basin, (Wilma) 7 Major (Cat 3+) storms. And to top it all off Hurricane Katrina. Now Katrina wasn't that big a deal except for WHERE it hit. If Katrina misses New Orleans it's a story for a few days and then forgotten.
Katrina was our generation's Camille though, at least I hope it was. (i.e. I hope there aren't any more that are worse)
