Default RIP, Les Paul

Les Paul, inventor of the solid body guitar and multi-track recording, died of pnuemonia at the age of 94. Music would not be what it is today without him.

I was just going to start a thread about this. A legend who not only had a great idea but invented a great guitar.

I just came to this room to see if ol' Les was remembered.
Thanks Bill B.
Here is a link that has a little more info about his life.
The Associated Press: Tributes for guitar legend Les Paul; dead at 94

There is no better sounding guitar (to me)than that of a Les Paul.
R.I.P. Les
