Default RIP Karl Malden

Seems like a day can't go by without another celebrity passing. Great actor. "Patton", "Streets of San Francisco". One of the great actors of the 20th century. At least he made it to 97.

When I was kid my parents watched Streets of SanFrancisco every week. And since people only had 1 TV per family back then, I did too.

That's right Carradine was two weeks ago...that's the last of the three.

No more taken away hopefully!

Funny I'm looking at his history and forgot that he was in "On the Waterfront". Loved that strong passion he put in it, so different than the quiet guy he played in Patton...saw again that he was in "The West Wing" recently in a role of a priest who had a great one liner that shut up Martin Sheen's President Bartlet character.

Don't forget that we also lost Gale Storm and Fred Travelena over the last weekend also. Storm was a movie and television actress. Starred in the series "My Little Margie" for 3 years. Travelena was a very talented impersonator who mainly worked out of Vegas but made many appearances on the tonight show.

I'm old,
Today when I watch the Turner Movie Channel (TMC) almost all in those movies are gone, they were the movie stars of my day as were all the "character actors" they were the ones that you knew their faces but never seemed to remember their names, there was one in particular though he played in almost every "Western" John Wayne was in, his name was Jack Elam.

Karl Malden was married to the same women for 70 years.
