LA Times initialy said he was in a coma but have recently changed that to say he has died.

I think he revolutionized the pop genre/culture didn't he. I personally have never been a massive fan but I doubt there is a person in the world who hasn't heard of Michael Jackson.

Never liked him, won't miss him. But I respect what he accomplished. Anyone dying of a heart attack at 50 is sad.

I heard that Lou Ferigno was training him to get him back in shape for his upcoming concerts... seems like the guy's heart couldn't take it. It's a pretty sad story when you consider how high he went and how bad things got with his finances and personal life.

Regardless of your view of Jackson, he was an integral part of the history of the New England Patriots. Boxing promoter Don King was nvolved in Jackson's "Victory" concert tour, and Billy Sullivan's son Chuck got involved. Sullivan was in way over his head negotiating with a guy like King, and King took Sullivan to the cleaners. Bottom line was that he lost so much money the Sullivans had to sell the team. A couple of owners later Robert Kraft entered the picture in Foxborough, and the rest is history.
