When I was growing up in Connecticut we used to get Pizza from a place called Steve & Toms Pizza in Rockville. Because of them, i grew up believing that the meatballs were put on first and then a big blanket of cheese was put over it. It was the best. You'd get it home and the cheese would be sticking on the cardboard of the box.
rumor has it that is called New London style, and google tells me there are 'New London" pizza houses around. Is this the same? Does anyone know what im talking about? A Connecticut thing maybe?? |
