Default China in a nutshell

The operation manager (an American) at our factory in China turned 60 last Sunday. So beforehand I authorized the staff there to get some cake for him and everyone else at the factory to celebrate on the Friday before his birthday.

I was not in town that day so a few days later I asked our administrative assistant how it went. She told me that the operations manager wasn't here Friday (he took his son to the doctor instead), so they decided that everyone else would eat the cake. To be nice they took a picture of them eating the cake to show him.

Yes, instead of waiting until Monday (the day after his birthday) to celebrate his birthday with him, they ate his cake 2 days before his birthday. When I asked WHY!?!?!?!?!, she said because "sometimes Chinese people like to celebrate birthdays before they occur, but not after, and what do you think"

I said I think that is the dumbest thing I have heard in years.

Nah, I'm not so nice. Every pic of me in a Pats shirt were at the SB except for one in Big D. Awesome can be good or bad. I did not mean to imply that I'm awesome. The events in which those pics were taken were either awesomely awesome (great game in Dallas, being at Brady's locker, meeting Bob and the 3 Vinces) or awesomely terrible (the SB, the trip back from the SB). Meeting Wilfork and Koppen after the Super Bowl was awesomely bitter sweet.

Believe me, I have far less awesome pics of me with and without Pats shirts on. I'll spare you from those.

China is the model for all of the NWO... if you don't do what you're supposed to do, bring the death van over asap.

The Chinese celebrating birthdays early makes sense. It helps explain why they had 12-year-olds competing in women's gymnastics during the Olympics, when the age requirement is 16. Wouldn't surprise me if it's national policy.

I'd love to celebrate one of my birthdays in China. I'd wear my birthday suit, and have a happy ending.
