It seems that with an increase in membership, there is not as much quality and lots of panicky folks.. too much hysteria and lack of trust in this franchise or maybe it is the Red Sox effect???

I don't remember. There wasn't much garbage last offseason aside from the Randy Moss BS because what was there to be worried about? I definitely remember some panic because of Deion Branch leaving.

It is a RED Sox effect...I think so..panic is much the norm of the past..engrained in red SOx fans..and now because it's inside their heads, really somehow transfered to the Pats...It's been around for yaers..lesser so and NOW MORE!! A wave...I agree about quality as well..in fact I am embarrassed by some of teh threads..and MANY of these folks have not followed teh team long..and don't realize HOW LUCKY they are to be Patriot fans now..as opposed to when the franchise was up and down and unstable..

When? Come on, this board has always been going to hell. I remember back in the "there is NO way Patten makes this team" days, all the nostalgia for the good old days of serious, thoughtful football talk.

There are waves of BS, but inevitably a few remarkably insightful, well-researched threads break through and remind us that you can learn more about this team here than anywhere else. So...hey you! (Whoever you are.) Start one of those threads now, ok? Thanks!

The Patton threads were at least about a player and whether he would make it or not...as opposed to WTF is going on??? Agreed..both BS threads..but these I think exponentially worse..
