Ugh. Who the heck gets a cold in the middle of August?

Actually my wife got it first. She gets sick much easier than I do. Personally I think it's because of her job; she lets stress get to her too much. So most of the time when she gets sick I don't have to worry about it.

This time, however, she definitely caught some kind of bug because now I have it. I don't have a stuffy nose, but my head is all spacey and I have a lot of irritation at the back of my mouth. Plus I have sinus pressure that feels like there's a blown-up balloon inside my head.

The worst part, though, is that I don't have any sick days at work yet so if I don't go in I just don't get paid, and today is the second day in a row I've had to stay home.

Oh well, this gives me a chance to get caught up on some reading. And movies. And violent video games.
