Default Pitchers

Here's my .02 after reading Gammons, Dirt Dogs and Buster Olney. Trade Clement or Wells for Reed, Payton or Roberts. We can make the Wells for Roberts trade but we would have to take Williams and eat his contract.
If we can ditch both we should go after Weaver, the consesus is he will make some GM look smart for signing him.

Our rotation could be:
Shilling
Beckett
Wakefield
Weaver
Papelbon

Relief
Arroyo
Seanez
Mota
Tavarez
DiNardo

SU
Timlin
CL
Foulke

That's 12....What's your thoughts?

i am not sold on Weaver...and i like Clement even though he had a bad second half (he did get drilled in the face and never was the same). Wells for a CF would be nice.

Default well

i am not ready to give up un clement just yet. (unless it nets us miggy ) He had a great first half and then got rocked in the melon---not many people would be good to go after that, but he did and was a trooper; he was never the same though. Let's give him a chance to pull it together before we dump him,,,he's got a great upside!
