Sox just aquired SS Alex Gonzalez from Cincy. Details yet to come.

This is great news. best defensive SS i have ever seen in a Sox uni.

He has since blown out his knee and his throwing elbow. He'll be better than Woodward, but other than that, i don't know.

excellent move. i love gonzo he can flat out pick it. he will save the sox some runs if healthy. either way its a good move especially when you consider its after the trade dead line. it might not work out but its a good move just the same.

I have to agree. He's still an above average defensive ss but he is nowhere near the level that we had the pleasure of watching a few years ago.

The bat is awful right now as well.

He's hitting .211, so he'll fit right in with this team.

In less than 7 weeks, this team has gone from 5 up to 6 1/2 back, an 11 1/2 game swing, shades of 1978 all over again, what a gagjob.

Excuse me if I'm underwhelmed about this........
