I think I found a sleeper beast. I discovered this sleeper beast while scouting Stanford vs Arizona. Stanford’s QB is terrible BTW. Toilolo was often wide open and the QB couldn’t get it there. He caught 5 for 141 but probably should have had 6 more catches. My first time scouting Toilolo throughout a whole game, and I liked what I saw. He’s my #1 ranked TE right now. He’s far better than any of last years TEs. I need to see more, but I was very impressed. But I’m not here to talk about him!
The sleeper beast - ranked 394 at CBS - is Taimi Tutogi, the FB/TE for Arizona. He’s a 6’1” 260 pound wrecking ball with light feet, soft hands, and world class versatility. Not only is he a FB and TE, but he also played DL at Arizona! He plays about half the time, but the offense is much more productive when he’s in. They take him out to run the spread, but the QB isn’t good enough to be throwing it outside all the time.
The first offensive play vs Stanford he lined up as a TE, blocked, and then ran to the flats for a 6 yard reception. He tried to jump over the CB, and the CB got knocked out cold. He had another stand out play in the second quarter. Lined up a TE, ran a 15 yard seam and got blown up as he caught it and the ball came out. The hit knocked him out of the game, but the amazing part is he managed to re-catch the ball from the ground with three Cardinals around him, a big time NFL play. He’s a Special teamer too.

Austin could be a 1 to 2 round pick.. Love the guy bonus is he's return skills, but I really hope, BB won't use a pick on WR/TE's before 4 round.
Lloyd, Edelman, Salas, Aaron, Gronk, Balland, Fells is a good group for next year, plus all the Rb's. Who knows, mayby ww aswell.. Vereen getting a problem, since Demps comeing also.. Imagine him with the holes they make now.
I'd take Austin in the 3rd, maybe end of the 2nd. Probably not earlier. If he goes earlier than that, so be it. His slight build may keep him down a bit. Maybe not.

See post #574 above. Kyle Long is one of my major OL sleepers for the 2013 draft. Howie calls him the best athlete in the family. Imagine what Scar could do with him.
A+ material with circumstances that have harmed his draft value, he's the perfect draft target.

Look how good he looks in blue and red!
He sounds intriguing, great find.

He is now my no 1 Patriots possible prospect in this draft. Well Ansah should be in that thinking too. Incredible length, strength and speed. The only thing likely to stop his meteoric rise is if he turns out to be older than the norm (the BYU thing).
Every year there are a few players that are totally off the map who are able to find playing time as seniors and grab the attention of NFL scouts. BYU hybrid linebacker Ezekiel Ansah fits that description as a virtual unknown a few months ago, but is now shooting up draft boards as we find out more about the disruptive defender. Originally a track athlete at BYU, he decided to try football so he went to the Cougars' coaching staff in 2010 and worked his way onto the team. Ansah, who was born and raised in Ghana, entered the 2012 season with just 10 career tackles on his resume, but earned a starting job as a senior and hasn't disappointed. Against Utah State last Friday, he set career-bests with 3.0 tackles for loss and 2.0 sacks, pushing his season totals to 27 total tackles, 9.5 tackles for loss, 3.0 sacks and three pass break-ups. Listed at 6-6 and 270 pounds, Ansah is a freakish athlete with an outstanding blend of length, speed and natural power. He plays all over the front-seven for BYU, lining up with his hand in the dirt at defensive end or standing up at linebacker and dropping into coverage. Ansah has a flexible, fluid body type and is an effortless mover, exploding in any direction and chasing down the ballcarrier. He is obviously very raw having so little experience playing the sport, but already he has showed improved recognition skills and hand use. Ansah is just scratching the surface on what he can do and, like Jason Pierre Paul a few years back, NFL scouts are wondering just how high his ceiling can be. Don't be surprised if Ansah continues to produce, tests off the charts in pre-draft work outs and ends up as a top-50 draft pick.

Austin would make a great Deion Branch replacement, and a perfect fit for the fast paced Pats offense.
The prospect catching my eye the most as a potential Branch replacement is DeAndre Hopkins of Clemson. If he declares we'll probably need to use a first rounder on him which I'd rather not do, but I'd use a second rounder on him without hesitation. Tavon Austin has fumble issues I believe, the best WR on that team is Stedman Bailey and I'd be thrilled if we got Bailey or Hopkins in the draft. Nos 1 and 2 0n my WR list.
I was going to write another post about a prospect I liked only to discover that he too is a junior. Just about every prospect I've identified as liking seems to be a junior. Very frustrating. Looks like I'm going to have a looonnng binky list next year. Should be a good year for me.
Anyways, the prospect was in response to Merrills Arizona FB find and it was Trey Burton out of Florida - a versatile guy in the Belichick mould.

I have plenty of seniors that I like, for all 3 days of the draft, from potential top 10 picks to UDFAs. Guys like DT Star Lotulelei, DT Jesse Williams, DT John Jenkins, DT Kawann Short, DE Tank Carradine, DE Margus Hunt, DE Devin Taylor, DE Dion Jordan, WR Tavon Austin, OL Barrett Jones, OG Johnathan Cooper, PT Brandon Williams, OT Kyle Long, OT Luke Marquardt, TE Michael Williams, just to name a few. Lots more.

I'd like to put out a two year early binky alert on Vinnie Sunseri.

Burton runs the wildcat right? Maybe the Jets will go after him.

For me:
Seniors:
Chance Warmack
John Cooper
Dallas Thomas
Ziggy Ansah
Cornelius Carradine
Quinton Patton
Leon McFadden
Lonnie Pryor
Jake Knott
Juniors:
LaMarcus Joyner
Dee Milliner
Jordan Reed
Trey Burton
DeAndre Hopkins
Alec Ogletree
Matt Elam
Joseph Randle
Kyle Fuller
Kyle Van Noy
Stedman Bailey

Not exhaustive lists, but these are the prospects that evoke more than a rational. logical response in terms of need and fit. These are prospects "I want". As you can see, next year will be a really enjoyable year for me potentially.
