First off, trade pick 28-32 depending on where we end up to the Buffalo Bills for their pick at 40 and theyre pick at 104 and 2014 5th. So our first for 2013 2nd, 4th and 2014 5th

Ok so now at number 40

Shariff Floyd DT Florida

BB loves Florida players and the Pats need another DT

Now at pick 64

Quinton Patton WR Louisiana Tech/ Alternative John Simon OLB Ohio State

My 2013 binky of the draft versatile and was the main part of Louisiana Tech FBS leading offense

Pick 96

Tharold Simon CB LSU

slightly bigger cornerback many comparisons to Richard Sherman gives us depth and gives us another option if Talib or Dennard gets hurt or if we dont resign Talib

Pick 104

Brian Winters OT Kent State

much love for Brian Winters on this board

Round 7 first pick #204

Terron Armstead OT/ Tyrann Mathieu CB

currently ranked in the 7th round but could be rising for now hes my pick here but if he rises Tyrann Mathieu CB

Round 7 2nd pick

Cooper Taylor SS Richmond/ Gilbert Pena DT Ole Miss

Im not sure which one id pick i would have them pretty even Cooper Taylor could develop for a year or two and Gilbert Pena could help immediately. I like both and would be happy with both

2013 UDFA
All ranked lower than 254
Mike Catapano
Kapron Lewis Moore
Nigel Malone
Matt Stankiewitch
Brandon Moore
Tom Wort
Dexter Mccoil
Quinton Dial
Stephon Jefferson
Garrett Gilkey
Caraun Reed
Very nice mock, I just don't see Armstead or Taylor going that late as things currently stand, but I'd be thrilled to get them.

yeah i went by were they were ranked on cbs and i originally said that an alternative to Brian Winters in the 4th could be Terron Armstead. I think we should really push for a trade with the Bills. They dont need to use their 8 on Nassib but probably want to pick up a pick at the end of the 1st to make sure they get him. there are too many teams that look like they will take a qb in the 2nd to be sure theyll get him.

Shane Hallum has a 3 rounder at draft countdown. Don't like our picks at all.

1.David Amerson - DB
2. Robert Woods - WR
3. Chris Faulk - T

Given his board, I'd prob go with;

1. Jon Cooper - G - Slide Connolly to C.
2. Markus Wheaton - WR - Oregon St
3. Tough call. Prob depends how next 2 games play out. If Hightower looks ok at lb, maybe Carradine. If not, maybe Hodges from PSU. Sucks not having many picks. Who would you guys take given his board?

In the first round, I'd run to the podium with Jonathan Cooper's name on my draft card in that scenario. Both Tavon Austin and Jesse Williams are within a few picks of our 2nd round pick in Hallam's mock - unlikely but possible - and I'd try to trade up for one of them. Either would be great. Quinton Patton is also a few picks away in the 3rd round.

Also, the following are still on the board after 3 rounds in Hallam's mock:

- DB Tharold Simon, LSU
- OG Brian Winters, Kent St.
- OL Kyle Long, Oregon
- OT Reid Fragel, Ohio St.
- OT Menelik Watson, Florida St.
- DE Tank Carradine, Florida St.

But I think it's a pretty crappy mock, so I'd discount it. I don't consider it very realistic.

For me it would be:

1. Jonathan Cooper (I'd be miserable if he's on the board and we don't take him)

2. Robert Woods/Markus Wheaton (Woods is a good pick but Wheaton's my man)

3. Leon Mcfadden (Patriot leadership qualities and an outstanding cover corner).

Cooper, Woods, Carradine would tickle my fancy. Three first round values.

Faulk in the third would be fine if we lose Vollmer, and Wreh-Wilson would be fine if we lose Talib.

Could get behind those choices as well.

I love the 2nd and 3rd round possibilites in this draft.

The offense with Woods and Cooper would rival 2007's.

The only problem is I've found basically nothing on Faulk's knee injury. He was considered a first round tackle before the injury, but without any injury details he won't make into any mocks of mine.

I have a vision of Solder and Cooper lead blocking for Vereen/Woodhead/Welker/Hernandez/Demps ( ) on a screen and it's a bit like a wet dream.

Or go empty with Lloyd, Welker, Gronk, Hernandez, and Woods
