I think its also interesting that neither have Janoris Jenkins in the 1st round. It seems the growing view around the league is that no team will touch him round 1, and while he may not fall to 48, if he does I think you have to take a long hard look at him.

I can't honestly see the Bengals passing up on Kirkpatrick not once but twice.

They could use some help on both lines too. Brugler has them taking Gilmore. I'd take him at 27 if he drops. Though, it appears he's really rising. I think DeCastro and DL like Brockers or Still might be their picks.

The Cincinnati Bengals should draft Barron and Kirkpatrick in the first round, since offensive guards and wide receivers are available in the latter rounds of the draft.

Not if David DeCastro is on the board when they are picking. He's a significantly better prospect than either of the Bama boys. No holes in his game. And, may even be able to play center. Some don't like Barron's range and Kirkpatrick's coverage skills.

I don't see DeCastro falling past the Kansas City Chiefs, since Brian Waters is currently on the New England Patriots roster.

This isn't what I think we will do, but what I would like us to do if Ingram is still on the board at 12.

Trade #27 and #31 for #12 (Seattle). Draft Melvin Ingram

Bengals are very nicely positioned to go BPA. Bank on them getting someone from the SEC (they almost always do, particularly if it's from Georgia - hello Cordy Glenn). My money would be on Luke Kuechly/Cordy Glenn and Stephon Gilmore.

I suspect it more likely the Seahawks would want Ingram for themselves. They want a pass rusher who offers the flexibility to not just be an end but can play SLB too. Ingram seems to fit the bill perfectly for them.

Let the Jets trade up for Ingram. He can have lots of fun trying to shed blocks from Solder, who's got an advantage of literally 4 inches in arm length. Plus, I imagine it'd take at least their 1st and 2nd, so that'd lower the overall quality of the rest of the team.
Off The Grid and NinjaZX6R like this.
