0-7 Colts (2: JAX, JAX)
0-6 Dolphins (0)
0-6 Rams (2: ARI, ARI)
1-6 Jaguars (IND, IND)
1-6 Vikings (0)
1-5 Cardinals (2: STL, STL)
Conclusion: the tough divisional schedule currently gives Miami the inside track.
And, sadly, I just don't perceive any of the bottom ~ top? ~ 4 as having the requisite Staying Power to hang with the Colts and the Fish...Indeed, I wouldn't've said that of the Colts, either, but last night's work ~ I had to check to make sure I wasn't on the COLLEGE ScoreBoard!!
~ impresses me immensely: This really
looks like a team that's mentally prepared to do whatever it has to do
to suck for the entire season.
A spectacular defeat like last's night's has been known to produce a cathartic effect on a team: There's something exhilarating
about getting annihilated so emphatically.
The pressure's OFF the Colts, now.
Expectations have been OBLITERATED.
Now they can actually get to work
...and start enjoying
I wouldn't be surprised if they suddenly start knocking off some Wins.
