Default Is Dan Connor really that mediocre?

Patriots could have had Dan Connor with first third-round pick. I wonder what BB didn't like about him.

They said they wanted to get faster....Mayo & Wheatley sure give them that. All the taller corners lacked speed and maybe Connors lacked speed as well - I know he lacks size, which i really important, inside, in our system.

This pick should be interesting at 78 for sure.

Dan Conner projects as a MLB. WE got Mayo yesterday. Belichick was looking for an OLB. Apparently Crable was the highest on his board.

Connor actually has nice speed. His ability to diagnose plays makes his playing speed even more impressive.

Probably the same thing all the other teams don't like about him - he's small and not a great athlete.

Yes, he's that bad. I could play better at LB than him.

I like Crable better than Connor. Crable has good size, athleticism, and speed.
