Default Time of Pick

If the draft starts at 3:00 PM, I am assuming we will be picking between 4:30 and 4:45, correct? Can someone please verify this for me.

thanks

It is supposed to be 10 minutes in between picks now. So shortly after 4 I am guessing. Hopefully Miami won't take 10 minutes too.

From an earlier post I made in the draft forum:

Here are the approximate times the Pats will be picking next weekend for all those who don't have all weekend to sit in front of the TV. I took into account the new times allowed per pick. I realize that this is extremely rough since a) most teams don't use the fully allotted time and b) trades will probably happen. So take it as a guideline...

Approximate Patriots Pick Times (EST):

Saturday

1st Round Pick #7 : 4:10pm
2nd Round Pick #62 : 11:47pm

Sunday

3rd Round Pick #69 : 10:35am
3rd Round Pick #94 : 12:40pm
4th Round Pick #126 : 3:20pm
5th ROund Pick #157 : 5:55pm
6th Round Pick #189 : 8:35pm
7th Round Pick #221 : 11:15pm

(For the later picks the more likely this is to be off, but for the earlier picks it should be pretty close)

Probably earlier than that. Basically, the Patriots should be on the clock--assuming they don't trade--no more than 50 minutes after Goodell announces Jake Long, which I presume would be before 3:40. So, I'd say, for the sake of argument, a good estimate is 4:00-4:30.

And now lets make the side bets. 2nd round pick at 11:47 over or under?

If we actually make our 2nd round selection at 11:47 we should all donate a dollar to MiDuece's favorite charity.

According to Reiss, the Pats should pick in round 1 at about 3:50 and in round two at about 9:30.

Does the miDeuce Beer Fund count as a Charity? I assume it's going to be way under 11:47pm. But according to the math it can't be any later.

Cool, thanks for the updates. I did not know it was changed from 15 to 10 mins between picks.
