Arrow My2Cents Finalized Two Round Mock Draft

Round One

1. Miami - LT Jake Long, Michigan
The Dolphins make Long the cornerstone of their franchise.

2. St. Louis - DT Glenn Dorsey, LSU
Dorsey can single-handedly change the face of the Rams D.

3. *NY Jets - RB Darren McFadden, Arkansas
After doing their homework on DMc, they move aggressively.

4. Oakland - DT Sedrick Ellis, USC
Their scouts/coaches, once again, will go with a familiar player.

5. Kansas City - DE Chris Long, Virginia
With Jared Allen on the trade block, Long might be an upgrade.

6. *Atlanta - CB Leodis McKelvin, Troy
Falcons are zeroed in on McKelvin and searching for a trade partner.

7. New England - DB Dominique-Rodgers Cromartie, TSU
With all due respect to Law/Samuel, the most gifted Patriot CB ever!

8. Baltimore - QB Matt Ryan, BC
The retirement of Steve McNair forces the Ravens to pick him.

9. Cincinnati - DE Vernon Gholston, OSU
Having been tagged as "overrated," his brief slide shouldn't surprise.

10. New Orleans - LB Keith Rivers, USC
Saints are looking to trade up but Gholston or Rivers may fall to them.

11. Buffalo - WR Devin Thomas, Michigan State
The Bills have brought in this Combine stud for another predraft visit.

12. Denver - RB Rashard Mendenhall, Illinois
Despite some late-round "finds," they've never replaced Terrell Davis.

13. Carolina - DE Derrick Harvey, Florida
Taking a page from the Giants, Harvey will pair with Julius Peppers.

14. Chicago - LT Ryan Clady, Boise State
Rumored to like Chris Williams, but Clady is clearly rated higher.

15. Detroit - DB Mike Jenkins, USF
The Lions are trying to bring in players, like Jenkins, with ball skills.

16. Arizona - LB Dan Connor, PSU
The Cardinals could go a lot of ways but the versatile Connors is it.

17. Minnesota – DE Quintin Groves, Auburn
Medical red flags make Groves an early steal for the Vikings.

18. Houston - RB Jonathan Stewart, Oregon
Snatching up the draft's most powerful back is a nice roll of the dice.

19. Philadelphia - OG Brendan Albert, UV
Some have him going as high as the top ten. That's a big stretch.

20. Tampa Bay - CB Antoine Cason, Arizona
They have eyes for Mike Jenkins but will have to trade up for him.

21. Washington - DL Kentwan Balmer, NC
Balmer might help along the line, both on the inside and outside.

22. Dallas - WR DeSean Jackson, Cal
Terry Glen is on his last legs and Jackson is a big time playmaker.

23. Pittsburgh - LT Jeff Otah, Pittsburgh
Looking to land a big-ugly, the Steelers can take Williams or Otah.

24. Tennessee - LT Chris Williams, Vandy
Look for the Titans to beef up their offensive line with Williams.

25. Seatle - RB Felix Jones, Arkansas
Drafting Jones spells the end of Shaun Alexander's Seahawk career.

26. Jacksonville - DE Phillip Merling, Clemson
The Jags have to be hoping that either Merling or Groves is available.

27. San Diego - DT Trevor Laws, Notre Dame
Laws could help sure up a line that has become suddenly suspect.

28. Dallas – DB Reggie Smith, Oklahoma
Whether they land Pacman Jones or not, Smith makes good sense.

29. San Francisco - RT Gosder Cherilus, BC
This would be the best move for them. But it's the 49ers so, who knows!

30. Green Bay - LB Jerod Mayo, UT
Opinions vary on Mayo. The Packers may draft to their strength.

31. NY Giants - WR Limas Sweed, Texas
Plasico Burress can't stay off the IR. Sweed makes a nice replacement.

Round Two

32. Miami – QB John Flacco, Delaware

33. St. Louis – FS Kenny Phillips, UM

34. Atlanta – QB Chad Henne, Michigan

35. Kansas City – CB Justin King, PSU

36. NY Jets – CB Brandon Flowers, VT

37. Atlanta – LT Sam Baker, USC

38. Baltimore – WR James Hardy, IU

39. San Francisco – DE Jason Jones, Eastern Michigan

40. New Orleans – TE Dustin Keller, Purdue

41. Buffalo – CB Pat Lee, Auburn

42. Denver – FS DaJuan Morgan, NCS

43. Carolina – RB Chris Johnson, ECU

44. Chicago – RB Matt Forte’ Tulane

45. Detroit – DE Cailis Campbell, UM

46. Cincinnati – DT Pat Sims, Auburn

47. Minnesota – WR Eddie Royal, VT

48. Atlanta – TE Fred Davis, USC

49. Eagles – CB Aqib Talib, KSU

50. Arizona – RB Ray Rice, Rutgers

51. Washington – OG Roy Schuenning, OSU

52. Tampa Bay – RB Kevin Smith, UCF

53. Pittsburgh – CB Tracy Porter, IU

54. Tennessee – DE Lawrence Jackson, USC

55. Seattle – QB Brian Brohm, Louisville

56. Green Bay – WR Donnie Avery, Houston

57. Miami – OLB Kliff Avril, Purdue

58. Jacksonville – LB Phillip Wheeler, GT

59. Indianapolis – LB Curtis Lofton, Oklahoma

60. Green Bay – RB Jamaal Charles, UT

61. Dallas – WR Mario Manningham, Michigan

62. New England – OLB/DE Marcus Howard, Georgia

63. NY Giants – CB Quintin Demps, UTEP

There's no way the Jets are trading their #2 for McFadden when they have no #3.

2 rounds 2 project picks, that's cool most of our rookies come right in , get right up to speed in our dumbed down system and contribute, day one......

I'll give you credit you had the stones to put your thoughts out there in the face of a potential stoning.

How else are they (Jesters) going to move up from #6 to #3? It's going to cost them and the trade value difference (depending on which chart you use)
of 600 points is a end of the first or top of the second round pick.....
The Jets did trade away all but three of theur picks last year so it's not out of the realm of possibility but......

I have to say, DRC has dominated at every level. Usually, that's an indicator that the prospect will continue to do so, as evidenced by his Combine and Senior Bowl performances. He can play either FS or CB. How is that a project?

Likewise, Howard is a late-bloomer having played behind two stud UGA DE's.
But he already has played OLB with high success. He finished the year with 10.5 sacks, and killed it at the Combine. His numbers are as good as any.
Again, how is that a project?

"Stones," yes! I have them coming out my ears! "Stonings"? Yes! I live for them!

Oh, I'm not saying they won't. But don't put words in my mouth, either.

How else could they move up? Well assuming it is the Jets that move up to #3, and not ------say, the Bengals!!!! perhaps ------- , I would assume they might package other picks, or maybe dangle Pennington.

And the more I think about it, the more I disagree with you. What rookies come in and perform for the Pats from day one??? Almost none!
