Agreed. If anything, McFadden splitting carries with LoMo would lengthen Maroney's career as well as McFadden's. Plus, one back would ultimately complement the other as Maroney is more of a power back than McFadden.

Actually never really thought about him being on our team.. But I just know he is good and would make your offense REALLY good.. Because you would have one of the best rushing games and passing games.. Instead of mostly passing. Which would make it even harder for us to beat you.

While I, for one, have been screaming for weeks about our need for the defense to get younger, I still wonder what it would be like if we got Darren McFadden to compliment Maroney, Moss, Welker, and Brady.

We would probably break the 600 points barrier.

And have a more balanced offense to boot. I dunno, our defense did not look so bad last year. We pick up a CB and LB on the first day to go along with McFadden and this team could be scary good again. Might finally shut up those damn 72 dolphins.

The offense output would likely be no better than last year - probably worse.

Of course, that is the case no matter what is done this offseason.

The Pats should bring every potential top 10 prospect in for a closer look even Matt Ryan. The last thing the Pats want is to be locked into one possible selection. That would nulify any leverage with a potential trading partner.

ESPN is going nuts on Sportscenter that we're bringing in McFadden for a visit. Tomorrow they'll probably do some study that analyzes Maroney's first two years and come up with rumors that the Pats are trying to trade him.

I should have seen this coming sooner. It's all so clear now. The Patriots will trade up to #1 to draft Darren McFadden. Here is why?

1. BB believes the game has shifted to Offense, not Defense.
2. The Tuna is just begging to give the top overall pick away.
3. The Patriots see an opportunity and they pounce on it.
4. McFadden is unquestionably the biggest impact player.
5. The quickest way to take pressure of Brady is to run well.
6. Even when he had Dillon, BB wanted to pair him up at RB.
7. Packaging picks to Miami could also land them Jason Taylor.
8. If Brady were to go down, McFadden could help carry them.
9. Brady wants to be surrounded by playmakers who can score.
10. The League loses power to bully Pats if they trade picks.

Yeah... there's not a snowball's chance in Hell that we trade up with the Dolphins.
