OK . . . any mammoth TEs on the horizon for 2012?

Not the best year for TEs. But there are two worth keeping an eye on:

George Bryan NC State - 6'5" and 260. All ACC last year.

Coby Fleenor Stanford = 6'6" but only 250. Has Luck throwing so he will get to see a lot of balls coming his way.

Wild Card Kevin Koger of Michigan 6'4" and 255. Won't get much chance to catch, but could be a devastating blocker.

With GRONKnandez on board, that's what I expect the Pats are looking for most.

I agree. And I think BB will uncover another Yeatman somewhere out there and sign him as an UDFA next April.

However in the short term,I like Solder as a third TE. At 6'8" he could be a devastating red zone weapon.

PS: If Yeatman would have had the benefit of a real offseason, he might not have been cut. He showed a lot in a short amount of time. Add in a couple of mini camps and a passing camp who knows how much further he could have grown.
