Remarkably, the 2011 Draft is less than a week old, and we already get this tasty gem from SI.com:

Exactly. We've not got a German Mountain, a Soldier from Boulder and a Texas Cannon, and we still need help. We just cant win here.

Adding, not just an Olineman, but a Tackle?? And an injured one at that?? They wouldnt even give us a Center in that spot? What's really funny is how that's with pick 31, so theyve apparently got New Orleans losing in the Superbowl. Gotta love predictions.

Cannon may end up on the OL, but I suspect that BB is going to try him out on the DL.

I'm not suggesting he ever tried that. I just look at the size and athletisism of the guy, and he looks like he could play either NT or DE in the Pats system. That doesn't mean that he can play those, he's just a good physical match for that. I also suspect that BB will try him there in camp, and if it doesn't work out, will stick to OL.

Trust me. He's never even gonna get a sniff on the Dline. Not a sniff.

Are you just saying that because BB never tried it, or is there some aspect of Cannon's game that makes you think he couldn't play DL? Check out this presser where BB is asked about where Cannon will play:
