Man, yours is mighty close to what I'd write up at this point. In fact, I'll just swap out my differences. I'm going to load up on the injury risks, going high-risk, high-return since 10 rookies aren't making the day-1 roster. And I'm drafting a lot in pairs, like Wilson/Samuel, Branch/Givens, Thomas/Mills.

Well, I will put my caveats in but mostly this is what I want to happen
24. Brandon Merriweather FS, Miami (FL) (I am assuming Nelson and Griffin are gone)
28. (well the second pick anyway) - David Harris: ILB, Michigan
91. Daymeion Hughes CB, California
127 (well the fourth round anyway) - Zak DeOssie: OLB, Brown
171. Chris Denman: OL, Fresno
180. Desmond Bishop: ILB, California
202. Jordan Palmer: QB, U.T.E.P. (Officially I don't think we will select this one)
208. Sean Douglas: P, Washington (I am betting Sepulveda & Podlesh are gone)
209. Ryne Robinson: WR, Miami
247. Leonard Peters: SS/ST, Hawaii (I am assuming we can talk him into leaving the Islands.)
It's too dificult to actually predict who the Pats should draft because we don't know who will be available. Unlike last year's draft, this draft is going to be very unpredictable. However, later this week I'm going to have my official decision of who the Pats should draft.
Would it change your mind if I told you The Sporting News latest edition had Siler rated at #192 overall?
not saying that they are right but others have him rated much lower than 1st rounder. Some have him as a third rounder and I would agree with that.
No, those draft magazines are all over the place. I know he was rated behind only Willis after the season. His film isn't going to change, he plays hurt, hits a ton and is faster than anyone we have playing inside now. If Meyer has talked this kid up to BB and I've heard he has, and BB wants him, it has to be in RD #1 because I don't think he'll be there at the end of 3. I would much prefer to trade out of #28 and grab him with a late 2nd or early third. BB proved he will take a player before he should (Mankins) if he thinks there is a chance he'll be gone when the next pick comes along.
