Default Pats are on the clock

This is taken from another nfl message board:

1. Oakland- BJames1156 - Jamarcus Russell, QB, LSU
2. Detroit- The Return of the Raider - Brady Quinn, QB, Notre Dame
3. Clevland- bakes781 - Joe Thomas, OT, Wisconsin
4. Tampa Bay- porky88 - Calvin Johnson, WR, Georgia Tech
5. Arizona- panthersare - Gaines Adams, DE, Clemson
6. Washington- blackadder - Amobi Okoye, DT, Louisville
7. Minnesota- vikingfan - Adrian Peterson, RB, Oklahoma
8. Atlanta- bakes781 - Laron Landry, S, LSU
9. Miami- blackadder - Darrelle Revis, CB, Pittsburgh
10. Houston-Pack Attack - Levi Brown, OT, Penn State
11. San Fran-BearNole 6304 - Alan Branch, DT, Michigan
12. Buffalo- The Return of the Raider - Patrick Willis, LB, Mississippi
13. St. Louis- Pack Attack - Jamaal Anderson, DE, Arkansas
14. Carolina- panthersare - Reggie Nelson, S, Florida
15. Pittsburgh- porky88 - Leon Hall, CB, Michigan
16. Green Bay- porky88 - Marshawn Lynch, RB, California
17. Jacksonville- bakes781 Ted Ginn Jr, WR, Ohio State
18. Cincinnati- FLORIDA PACKER Paul Posluszny, OLB, Penn State
19. Tennessee - Titans_Buckeyes Dwayne Bowe, WR, LSU
20. NYG- Giantsfan1 Lawrence Timmons, LB, Florida State
21. Denver-BearNole 6304 Ben Grubbs, G, Auburn
22. Dallas- BJames1156 Chris Houston, CB, Arkansas
23. Kansas City- Bears#1fan Robert Meachem, WR, Tennessee
24. New England- bakes781

Suggestions? I was leaning towards Merriweather despite his troubled behavior. Another option I was considering was TE since all the top LBs are gone.

Put your Kool-Aid down NOW. That batch expired in 2004. Gillette Stadium will be sending you this year's batches ASAP.

My serious pick would probably be someone like Carriker. But even the oft-maligned Brian Leonard would be a better pick than any TE.

But you know how much BB loves TEs. And there's a couple good ones in this draft. Just throwing it out there.

the only te out there worth a 1st round pick is greg olsen and this guy would be a ben watson clone. if you draft a te for the pats it should be one with better blocking skills

I would have traded up for Carriker by now. A first round of Carriker/Anthony Spencer would be phenomenal

Greg Olson is over-rated. The better TE is Zach Miller from ASU.

In reality he's likely not on the board, but with Carriker being so talented even if at a Postion you already have Seymour and Warren, you take Carriker at 24. Plus this gives you more flexibility when it comes to resignings. Again though, I doubt he's still on the board.
