Default PFW's Read On ILBs

Tom Casale has finished watching tape. Here's his take:

I find his late-rounders discussion interesting.
(He regards Zak as an OLB.)

Did he say that Willis would be a "perfect fit" for the Patriots? Did he say that if he drops to 15-16 the Patriots could trade up to get him?

mmmm- I heard that before.

Does anyone know what Cassale's experience in player develop is. He speaks so pompously about different players, as if he is with BB at the draft meetings. Did he at least play the game? coach? scout?

At least? Well if you have had to played or have been a coach or scout then that means probably 90% of the opinions here aren't worth a crap.

Yup, I've been saying they should pull off the GB trade mostly because I'm hoping Willis last to around 14-16.

Who cares what Casale thinks, I'm waiting for AlisonlovesBrady to weigh in with her take on LB posteriors.

I dunno his analysis seems mostly sound in this case, even though I know he has a reputation for being arrogant. I'd love to see Willis in Pats uniform. The Bishop kid sounds like a good sleeper for the Patriots to take a flyer on in the second day as well.

He and I agree that David Harris is a very good ILB. He chooses to emphasize the pass coverage ability, I like to empasize the textbook run tackling technique.

We both think that Harris can play now and both believe he can grow and get better than now in the pros. Both of us think he is not a reach late 1.

Gee, he must be a genius because he agrees with my opinion...
