Default Tyrone Prothro

Anyone else remember his injury in '05? That was probably one of the worst injuries I have ever watched.

Now to my question, and why I posted this. Do any of you know if Prothro has recoverd from that injury, and if he'll ever be able to play again? I really liked the guy, and hope to see him back on the field in '07, this is why I am interested to know if he is expected to play again. I went to his website and it didn't say anything...

I absolutely love Prothro. Hope he makes a full recovery next year - and then finds his way to the Pats.

Isn't he the guy who made that catch behind the defenders head? he caught the ball behind the helmet of the DB and held on to it for a TD. That was one of the most amazing football catches I've ever seen.

Yup, that's Prothro. That catch won an ESPY for bast catch of the year (or something like that)

I was listening to a Radio Show yesterday called Southern Sports Tonight, and the host was saying that while his return is possible, don't count on him being back for this season. He doesn't feel like he will be back this season, and feels that Prothrois lucky to even be walking. Though he didn't rule him out of playing football ever again, just not yet. Not much info for you, but hey that is all I have.
