Default Pro Day tidbits

West Virginia receiver Brandon Myles, whom I like early on day two if we don't grab a WR earlier, wasn't invited to the combine. His Pro Day numbers :

Myles (6-1, 189) ran his 40s in 4.41 and 4.44 seconds. He also recorded a 35 ½-inch vertical, a 10-foot-11 broad, a 4.31 short shuttle and a 6.98 three-cone drill.

He certainly didn't hurt himself with those numbers.

And, according to Gil Brandt, the Patriots had scouts at TCU's Pro Day. I'm guessing to see OT Herb Taylor, whom I think is very underrated.

They may have wanted to see Taylor, but also to see one of my day two sleeper Safeties - Marvin White.

Having led the team in tackles and ints, he was voted defensive MVP. Will most likely add some weight (6012 199), but is a hard hitter with good speed (4.52/4.54). Reportedly, has a solid work ethic, and has really developed his last two seasons. If we pass on the earlier Safeties, I'd keep an eye on him on day two.

If you clicked on the supplied link:

"MICHIGAN: MARCH 16
The workout was held indoors. The players ran their 40s on a Mondo track -- which is the surface used at the Olympic track meets (very fast) "

Just reporting what they said...
