Default How about a kick butt returner?

I was a huge fan of Maurice Drew when he was at UCLA, very exciting player. Also Hester has basically carried the Bears with his play.

Any thought to adding a top end returner and letting Maroney focus on RB?

I'm all in favor of adding a dedicated KR/PR man. I know BB loves versatility and guys that can do multiple things, but field position is so crucial and a good KR/PR guy can help out a ton in that regard.

If we draft TE Clark Harris of Rutgers and let him double as the LS and send Lonnie to the showers, hard to do, I know, then we'd have the spot available for a dedicated KR/PR guy. (If the KR/PR guy could play gunner on the coverage teams, then could afford to keep Lonnie, but I still like the idea of drafting Harris.)

Why Harris? [I'm not saying you're wrong, merely that I don't have info to make a decision. Of course, Belichick's drafting a TE is like the Colts choking in the playoffs. . . . not a guarantee, but pretty dang likely. ]

Harris has good size, runs excellent routes, has very soft hands and he plays ST. He has faced double coverage almost all season and has still done fairly well.
He could be stronger and be a better blocker, but you can say that about almost all college TEs. Depending on how he runs, I think he would make a better second TE than Thomas. (Assuming Graham is not resigned.)
