Default Top need on Offense next year??

Most agree we need CB and LB next year but what about the offense?
Being in Carolina I don't see many game so I read what you guys have to say.
My take is

WR..........Are we happy with what we have for next year?
OL..... do we need a Stud lineman to open up the running game? Other than Hannah I can't remember the last pro-bowl line man we had
RB- do we keep Dillion another year or draft a power runner?

Like I said you watch more games so I value your thoughts
thanks

i think were fine at WR..add depth in round 3 or something

we need an OL..maybe Mankins could do better at LT than Light..have a combo or Mankins-Kazcur-Koppen-Neal-Light. depends whos avaible..a versatile guy who can play 2 positions on line

RB is fine..Dillon is still signed and he can pound for tough yards..Maroney is the future..Faulk is a good 3rd down back especially as a receiver

TE - a great BLOCKEr is needed. im not sold on Watson or Thomas as blockers.whatever round, we need to replace Graham's blocking. he'll leave because he knows he can get money and better receiving opportunities out there

WR for sure. Caldwell's a nice #2, right now he's all we have.

WR - we dont NEED anyone but honestly...imagine how good tom brady could be with some top notch WR....

EX: peyton manning - wayne/harrison
Drew brees - horn/henderson/colston
Eli - burress / toomer...

pennington has a nice cast over there in NY too....i really think the pats are missing that big play maker on offense...dont get me wrong..they can easily get by with caldwell/jackson/gabriel/gaffney/(plus watson). we have the best QB in the league...we have to take advantage and aside from watson none of our wideouts bring major matchup problems...

weve been hurt by guys who can run after the plays i mean the jets WR nearly beat us singlehanded that first game just from some kickass yac

eli sucks lol

top WRs who werent first rounders
Steve Smith
Anquan Boldin
Terrell Owens
Chad Johnson
Donald Driver
Marques Colston
Deion Branch
Joe Horn
Chris Chambers

then again a lot of great WRs in round 1 but we have Jackson..Brady makes guys better.example: Givens

im all for a WR honestly..i like my self a playmaker and all but i think we have too much defensive needs

i honestly..feel like CJ after a training camp or something will become a very good WR. we've seen him get open..we've seen him make abrobatic catches..we've seen him crawl on all 4s to get into endzone..jumping catch..quick outs or curls that he nearly broke. i dont think any WR in draft is that polished that they are going to come in and make a big impact like we expected Jackson to. polished WRs i could think of are CJ and DJ but they are out of are reach..and CJ is only 1 i would 100% spend a first on but hes a top 5 guy

No-one said anything about the First Round, just what's the top offensive need. I am stunned that anyone can possibly not think it's WR.

Thumbs up Re: Top need on Offense next year??

if we lockup daniel grahme longterm and then i really see no other possible way to need any more offense...

we would be fine at RB/FB/TE

OL - only person that i think could use an upgrade is matt light...hes not having a good year...but i think we have good depth here and we seem to have good late-round picks at OL...

WR - im thinkin maybe one guy...round 2/3? a smaller, quicker type guy would be great...we seem to have too many possession receivers...

oh...and i think we need a new returner...i dont really like having our star RB returning kicks (hes damn good tho)...i really think tom brady is enough of a weapon to make this offense click...our team has always been built around a great defense and i think we need to get some reinforcements in here because our defense is getting old

other than that i think we should focus completely on D...i would really like a harrison type safety (someone who loves to hit) and a "ball-hawking" cb as well as a LB or two...

I think a Big play receiver would open the offense up more than what Brady has to throw to now.
And now that you mention it..a better return man would be nice. I can't remember the last time we ran a Punt/quickoff back for a TD?

If they want to go WR this could be the year, if some of the Juniors declare there could be some good players available. Meachem, Samardzija and maybe even an outside shot at guys like Ginn.

No. Brady needs another downfield threat to pair with Reche. Jackson may or may not develop (or be healthy). If he does -- we'll be fine with his skills. But if one goes down who will we have? Why not draft another WR as insurance. And of course, no matter who we add -- the learning curve awaits.

If we have a weak link on the OLine -- then fix it. Otherwise, keep in mind that it's a unit that plays as one -- and that takes lots of reps TOGETHER to be successful.

Dillon has lots left in the tank (in the role he'll play) -- better not to mess with him just yet.
