Default Drafting LBs

I think that the first round is not the place to take a LB for the Patriots unless its Greenway or Carpenter... possibley Manny Lawson I really think that the Pats should take the CB/S that falls or one of the many RBs that should be available. I think that the later round should have plenty of talent at LB. I think that a guy like kai parham from UVA would be a nice mid round pick for the Patriots. I don't care what the guys 40 time is. Guys like Ted Johnson or Bruschi don't run very fast 40s either. I wouldn't be shocked if the Pats used a late round pick for next years draft to select Ahmad Brooks. The guy does have some growing up to do, but is worth the risk. Most late round picks don't pan out, so you aren't giving up too much to see if this guy can play. His injuries in the past is a bigger concern though.

My pick at #21 would be D. Witner or L. White. One should be there and either would help.

I forgot about Kamerion Wimbley at 21.

Outside of those 4 lbs (and I don't think all of them will be there at 21) I'd go Whitner or White.
