Not sure where he got it from. But, it looks awfully like the Scout's Notebook
grade he used to give players.

A few of my favorite Joelisms.

1. When describing a big OT like Lincoln Kennedy. Harder to circumnavigate than
the globe.

2. Great athlete. Not a great player. Looks like Tarzan. Plays like Jane.

3. A player with a questionable work ethic. He better realize he ain't on
scholarship any more if he wants to make the grade in the NFL.

Exactly what I was talking about. In Patriot Reign, BB insists the Patriots scouts have those same type of conversations about players.

The ranking are what they are. I have been getting their draft guides since 1996 and find Joel and Nolan more reliable than most others. Last year at this time Matt Ryan was the top rated player at 7.00. That grade was shared with Jake Long and Dorsey.

The thing I like about their draft guide is that they do get into the intangibles more than others.

You probably need FLASH running on your computer.

Not sure if the rankings are the same but the interface on this USA Today site is fantastic; it just has rankings, comments (when the player is selected) and ht, wt, 40 time, though, not all the quickness numbers.

Thanks. Some days I need more than a "flash".

Tell me if they have Barwin ranked #1 yet.

LOL, 4th behind Curry, Cushing and Matthews at OLB. I'm sure they'll get it corrected soon . . .

I just reviewed the April 9th update. Connor Barwin is listed a solid 3rd rounder. Many see Barwin as a player without a position, although there is much interest for hime as 2nd round TE (including from the patriots).

FWIW, I checked Connor Barwin's ranking - sorry, couldn't help it - on both sites, and both have him at #31 overall. Will Beatty is #43 in both, Darius Butler is #25 in both and Larry English is #40 in both. Also, all 4 players had the same measurables on both sites.

I'm glad that those responsible at NFLDraftScout for sending their data to CBS & USAToday have been thus far consistent with their updates. It pisses me off when sites such as PFW & Scout.com have different rankings depending on the format (online, print, PDF) or website, some of which are off by almost 2 rounds.
