Default Third QB in 2009 draft?

OK--let's assume Belichick has decided he's going to draft a QB next year. Who would you pick, and when? [As long as it's plausible, of course.]

Why would BB be drafting a QB?

Because, odds are, Cassel's not going to be here, and they think they could upgrade over Gutierrez.

Or maybe he just wants to give the rest of the league the proverbial middle finger and not bring in a veteran.

This is not a great year for QBs.

Stafford has not stepped up his game, it maybe has regressed some, since last season.

Tebow can't read a milk carton let alone an NFL defense.

John Parker Wilson has improved by leaps over last year, but is JAG as a prospect.

Daniels of Mizzu is small (5'10" or so) and locked into that funky offense.

The Clemson QB looked weak against Alabama.

I think we are better off with Brady, Guiterrez and O'Connell for next season.

I love the size/strength/pedigree of Caldwell, Painter, and Boeckman. Damn that sounds like a law firm. My dark horse is Crane.

I like Painter, but obviously we arent gonna draft him, Boeckman is now just an afterthought to freshman sensation Terrele Pryor...I've watched C. Crane overthe last few weeks and he has looked terrible, and I honestly have no idea who Caldwell is...

We may see a late Day Two QB, more likely they'll bring in a UDFA kid to be camp fodder.
