Depends on who you listen to, a right wing blog or the truth.. what Clinton Proposed was a community policing program for all schools, which exists to this day a community police officer was present in Columbine... they exist to keep the peace and avoid conflict..

They will have to PROGRESSIVELY take the guns away from the people. If they enact a gun grab they will be in SERIOUS TROUBLE.

Expect them to first go for the “assault weapons” then all semi-auto, centerfire rifles and finally handguns. Patriots will have to determine where their “RED LINE” is drawn. And this is easy: with the widespread use of body armor by security forces, all weapons below a .223 (and in fact below .30 cal) are quite useless in the modern battlefield.

The 2nd Amendment is there for a clear reason: defense against tyrants. And for this purpose you need nowadays “high powered” rifles.

The NWO has a few nightmares coming from a patriotic uprising, especially:

1-SNIPERS. They can take out anyone. Save for a tank, armor is no good against an armor-piercing .50 cal round. Snipers are stealthy and operate in small groups of typically two. High tech is quite useless against a sniper.

2-IMPROVISED EXPLOSIVE DEVICES (IED), especially explosively formed penetrators (EFP) that can take out even an Abrams M1 Main Battle Tank. They can be manufactured literally from scrap, and by almost anybody. For starters:

3-URBAN GUERRILLA. The Jews have not managed yet to control the Gaza strip (365 sq km), the same size of Detroit!

Imagine what would happen if an armed uprising takes place in the 10 most populous American cities, all counting more than 1 million inhabitants and areas larger than Gaza (Houston: 1.700 sq km, Los Angeles: 1.250 sq km). Not to speak of the other two dozen cities with more than half a million inhabitants.

But the Republicans Opposed it.. no one mentioned right wing, as it was less evident in 1996... Columbine had a community policiing officer and in California yesterday there was a deputy on duty..

If you do not really understand the concept of community policiing, may want to find out more information.. it was not as much a reaction to an event, but an effort to become more engaged with the people that they protect and serve. The thought was that in the schools it may be an effective way..

When I was a Scout leader one of the other leaders was a community police officer in a local high school, what he did was much different than what is thought of what they should do now. In many ways he was very involved with avoiding crime in the streets when that information spilled into the high school.. he was a very good police officer.

It does not depend on who you listen to, it is what it is, even if we will never know the meaning of the word is.

Sure republicans were against it. If either side comes up with an idea then the other side is against it by default. Unless of course both sides see a way to make money off of it for themselves somehow.

Of course I did not say anything about the stance the republican's took on it, just that Bill Clinton suggested it.
