That's impressive. I wish I got into technology, and electronic related gizmos at a younger age. I only got into gagety type stuff in my 20's, and at that point I was already out of college and career placed. Tech stuff is so fascinating.

Even with Belichick as a coach, how is a girl to defend against 4 arms?

Pretty amazing how the robot drummer's head bounced up & down to the beat like a real drummer would.

We're a long way away from robots taking over. But the pace of technological advances has increased exponentially. So maybe it be sooner than I think.

I'll admit, seeing machines that act/look like humans gives me the creeps.

Is this thread comparable to disco in the 80's.. perhaps there will be a rejuvination of Punk Rock.. Johnny Rotten and Sid Vicious can make a comeback, God Save the Queen..

Someday archeologists will dig deep down into the ground and discover the relics of our inventors--robots. In a million years, we'll be gone and a robots will be inventing humans again. Robots can already do a lot of things we can't do, and the trend of technology is that development happens faster. I think we may see humanoid robots in our lifetime, and eventually they will be superior to us even on an emotional and creative plane. That must especially terrify conservatives, because if robots really are superior, then we can be sure the world will continue to move left

What happens to musicians and artists of any kind when digital brains become subtle enough to consider themselves and their place in "reality"? What if they develop a sense of art and irony like we have? We imagine that we are the only ones capable of such uniqueness, but I'm starting to think Isaac was right back in the 60's.

It's already happening, if you ask me. We have lost our need to design and assemble products for each other. We don't have to do accounting or math anymore. The day isn't far off when digital imagery will be translated to robotic surgery of any kind. The concept of unemployment will have to be replaced with new ways to look at our economy which can (and should be) replaced by machines. We'll eventually be phased out by machines which will become so advanced that the differences between organic and mechanic will be indistinguishable.

I say kill all the robots now while we still have a chance...
