People who would call that guy a DB are DBs. Even if there are more of them.
Wow, we have a real meeting of the minds here.
How could anyone view someone who walks around in life looking for things like Christmas decorations on gov't property as not being a db?
I LOVE the towns in New England that must say "fugg it, we're putting them up anyway!"
Like my town of Taunton. We have all kinds of decorations on our public green that includes a manger and everything! And no db's can do anything about it...at least not in OUR town.

The stinking scumsucking Dirt Bag that had the RMV Xmas decorations taken down should be Sterilized so he/she can't produce anymore Dirt Bags.

How do they know this is the first complaint evah? How do they know they don't have an SOP about Christmas decorations, the manager just looked at it, and said "oh crap, you're right"?
Regardless, the one customer was right. That's the thing about the Constitution. It counts even when you don't have a mob screaming and waving signs.
I know you have not been to the RMV in Braintree.
Braintree is a nice town, but this place is like a homeless shelter.
As someone who has been to a lot of homless shelter and detoxes
(as a - AA Speaker), I can tell you that the Braintree RMV has nothing on
these places. There are people sitting on the floor in the hallway's with their back against the wall. I even had one guy hit me up for change in the parking lot.
Let me ask you a question....
A lot of Banks have a, 'No Hats, No Hoods, No Sunglasses' Policy.
Should a Muslim be allowed to wear a burka into a bank?

Rules should be rules and no exceptions should be made.
Otherwise we'll have bank robbers pretending to be Muslim (or Bill Belichick).
Just tell em to take the stuff off and relax.

Interesting question.
Should my sister-in-law be allowed to keep her religiously required scarf on her head when she goes into a bank? Should a nun be required to remove her habit before entering? A rabbi to remove his hat? An Amish woman her bonnet?
If so, don't we need to remove the "freedom of religion" clause from our constitution?

no at all....that bank is a private establishment......you want to go in there, then remove the stuff.....if you don't want to remove the stuff, then don't go in there......quite simple......has nothing to do with freedom of religion.....its no different than a restaurant requiring formal attire

not sure what to make of this......cadets take crap over a great variety of things.......why not religion?
guess one way or another, he was not long for the place

Back on the merits: establishing one religion over all others may be fun and all, but this country has provisions that say "not with the public's money, not in the public sphere."
We also have "In God we trust" on our money. That should go too... not because it's bad to trust in God, but because we've got a country founded on the separation between the business of the state and the establishment of any religion (which is not, in this country, the business of the state.)
Some version of the slogan belongs on Iranian currency, not American -- even if the vast majority of Americans do trust in God. (Although truthfully, is that what you do when you cross the street, or do you look both ways? Natural selection long ago weeded out the truly trusting.)

Maybe it is time people start protesting... The Ramadan celebration at
the White House.

Thousands of DB's came to my town last week from all over eastern MA just to see our historic green beautifully decorated with Christmas joy complete with Jesus in a manger.
Now I'm sure some people have complained about separation of church & state, but we really don't care and just toss their complaints into the trash.
Our gov't actually put "In God We Trust" on our currency as a means of flipping the bird to all atheists and constitutional rights freaks PViVA.
You can have "In God We Trust" on our currency, have a Christmas tree on the White house lawn, public garden or DMV office and still have complete seperation of church & state....which we do.
