Default The Repubots are getting ready to throw Grover under the Bus...

Oh the horrors the repubots are about to break ranks with their dearly beloved leader, Grover... and discuss changes in deductions for those who can afford it most..

Quote:
“What I would say to Grover is that the sequester destroys the United States military,” Graham told ABC’s George Stephanopoulos on Sunday. “I am willing to generate revenue. It’s fair to ask my party to put revenue on the table. We’re below historic averages. I will not raise tax rates to do it. I will cap deductions.”
Stay tuned, this could descend into a down and dirty fight... it already has, Grover is threatening them already..

Quote:
Anti-tax activist Grover Norquist said Monday that his group, Americans for Tax Reform, would work to unseat Republicans who break their pledge to never vote for higher taxes.

His vow came after prominent GOP lawmakers said over the weekend they would consider breaking the Taxpayer Protection Pledge in order to reach a deal with Democrats and President Barack Obama to avoid tumbling over the fiscal cliff – the combination of sweeping spending cuts and tax increases that would go into effect at the end of the year if negotiators can't reach a deal on reducing the federal debt.

party is coming apart at the seams, and nothing could be more satisfying...

it is a blight on American progress, from foreign policy to destruction of the environment to oppression of women to the perpetual myth of "infinite growth" .... to constant intellectual dishonesty overall.

So they should stick with a party pledge, at the detrement of America?

Only a Lizzy Warren supporter would take party over country !

Our country is on the edge of fiscal disaster, and it is time people put away
their blue and red party lines and focus on our countries red, white, and blue.

I applaud any republican who favors raising taxes on the wealthiest americans. I think they should first look at reducing deductions.

I suggest a 75% tax on any bonus over a million dollars to start.

I would also applaud any democrat who favored a cut in spending.

It is time put party lines aside and get something done that will benefit our country
for today and tomorrow.

The other day was reading something about how Wall Street and the Big Banks were opposed to Senator Elect Warren to being placed on the Banking Committee... this WTF moment brought to you by the "real" American Politics..

Their Leader in Congress..

She would be a great fit on the banking committee.

My biggest problem with Liz Warren is her statement that she would be voting
with Barack Obama every step of the way.

I hate partison politics.

Norquist says he’ll go after pledge-breakers – CNN Political Ticker - CNN.com Blogs

They should break ranks if it means cutting spending. The new proposed tax hikes fund the. Govt for like 8 days. Can we all get serious about this defecit. I am for bipartisanship, but who really thinks we can get by with just raising taxes, seriously.

You do know that they'd find a way around it, right? Besides, with a 75% tax and local taxes it wouldn't make sense for anyone to run a large corproration.
If it were me, I'd quit and live off my investments.
You might as well just call for communism and get it over with.

BUAHAHAHA......yes, at the seams. Progressives take delusion to a whole new level.
I can still remember the elction of 2008. The Republicans were done. The party was no longer a national player....so on, so forth, blah, blah, blah.
Then came along the 2010 elections....lol. So much for that.

You're going to see just which party is coming apart at the seams in 2014. Boy, are those elections going to be fun.

cool story... in other words "we'll be back! with more men!" ... Yeah, see you then. When even more of your old base is dead and buried.

zzz

Don't act b-hurt because your party alienates every non-white, non-male sector of the American public. That's no one's fault but your own.

You may have a chance in 2014, if 1) the economy finally tanks that your heroes of deregulation poisoned long ago, or 2) you completely revamp your party platform from top to bottom.

Otherwise, the GOP's dead ideas don't stand a chance.

Low taxes were the core of your team's entire message, the most unabashed position you guys have taken for many years. Now look at them.

We don't make anything anymore, so there's a revenue problem. ... Due to your side's eagerness to ship jobs overseas. You know, so rich dooshbags can "avoid taxes." LOL....

Awwww... Stupid math.... It wins every time.
