Wow.

2% of the nation's population hates Democracy.

Looking good Orly Taitz, Donald Trump, etc!

'We lost so we want to take our ball and go home'.

Yeah, that's great advertising for the extreme Right Wing.

Yes, secession movements sound petty, but remember that Vermont had a secession movement about 10 years ago too.

I've yet to see an accounting of what makes us this "we pay out more in taxes and they get more than they pay in" stuff. I hear it parroted all the time, but I never see an itemization, or specific explanation of how they account for those figures.

As for a state wanting to secede, would you support their right to independence, or force them, even militarily, to remain as a member of the union? I'm curious what people think. I remember when I heard about Vermonteers wanting to secede I laughed. Probably much like some are laughing in here. Now that I'm older, and more into states rights than before, I'm not sure I'd stop a state from leaving. I think, and I could be mistaken, that the constitutions language more or less prevents secession. Thoughts?

The Patriots have been overachievers the past two years. It doesn't have the talent to compensate for injuries, and it wins so much because it puts in 99% effort in the regular season and plays with terrific schemes to mask its deficiencies.

But in the playoffs a good team at 99% will not beat emotional, talented teams that play at 100%. It's what happened against the Giants in 2011 and the Ravens in 2012.

Ok, I see a list there, but where is the methodology is what I'm asking. Like I said, I see the numbers put out there, and parroted all the time, but I've never seen a breakdown of how they came to those figures. Unless I missed it at the link, all I see is the list.
