I like Ted. Even met him once. I agree with much of what he holds dear in terms of traditional American values and his enthusiastic approach to living to the max. But his politics are just silly.
When Romney was running for election he actively sought the support of Nugent.. never could understand why...
He became "legal guardian" of a minor Hawaiin girl, so he could marry her later. He has admitted multiple encounters with underage girls. Courtney love claims she gave him oral sex when she was 12. He was a deadbeat dad. During the Viet Nam Draft he crapped his pants for a week and then spoke incherently during the physical to avoid being drafted.
He is a classic misogynist...
