I don't use it. Have you ever seen me use it?

I think using religion as the basis for any law is absurd

The Patriots have been overachievers the past two years. It doesn't have the talent to compensate for injuries, and it wins so much because it puts in 99% effort in the regular season and plays with terrific schemes to mask its deficiencies.

But in the playoffs a good team at 99% will not beat emotional, talented teams that play at 100%. It's what happened against the Giants in 2011 and the Ravens in 2012.

Absolutely. Only question is: what does it mean to be moral?

Yes you can but religion can teach and fortify your morality.

Pisses me off to see religion mocked by the leftist. Certainly not perfect it has served a lot of people well in a lot more positive areas then negative and to force phase it out as a society is horribly wrong.

It's a good question, and one I remember having a discussion about in my younger days with my mom.

My argument then was that Moral (or Morality) is to be human. You don't kill people. You don't steal. You don't bang your neighbors partner etc etc etc.

I almost view them as Universal Human Rules.

Its when you get into the man-made Religious applications where they are lost on me.

One of the best questions I've read in quite a while...simple and profound.

But don't let it go to your head B5...

I have nothing against religion as a practice. My family is Catholic, and is more Catholic each generation you go back.

My problem is when you try to government a nation made up of a wide range of beliefs with just one group's beliefs.

I prefer Inclusive, not Exclusive.
