Wrong, that's not what the bet entailed.

Of course I respect his wish. But this CHOICE of mine has nothing to do with respecting Ian's wish, especially when he, you, Icy and 13 have many times invited people to leave the forum "if you don't like it." ....
It has to do with a wager that my polar opposite here never had to accept. But not only accepted, he doubled down on it with JackBauer. It was a 50% chance to get him out of a position he never should have been granted, and that was worth the risk. I mean, just look at his behavior today. He continues to engage in arrogant broad-based rhetoric that even Icy deems a personal attack.
Anyhow, I'm not really concerned what it "looks like." I fear nothing and no one regarding this kind of discourse, and a con president only provides MORE material that supports my general thesis. So that's certainly not it.
I'll drop in from time to time, but it has absolutely ZERO to do with not wanting to "face the dark ages." It's about honoring a wager. And considering that I'm eliminated from 50% of the threads I enter anyway for "reasons" I see committed here by many others on an hourly basis, it would seem I'm not nearly as appreciated as you suggest.

You seriously need to get a life, as does anybody else that made a wager to leave a message board on the internet over differing political viewpoints.

It is much more than that.. this is a very old beef, one poster accepted the challenge.. and now he chooses not to "man up"... somethings are about honor and integrity whether it be on an anonymous internet message board or in real life..
You always do the right thing and live up to your word.

It's a "very old beef"... on a message board? Again, both posters are in serious need of a life.

More awful that all those old men and old women without valid state ID who aren't allowed to vote in the states that passed ID laws?
I mean, if you voted in the wrong polling place, using an outdated license with the incorrect address aren't you breaking the law?
Where I live in VA there are local elections on the ballot - only people who live in that particular town are supposed to vote for certain local offices. In other words, I can't live in Alexandria and vote for the mayor in Arlington....or the school board officials, or the judges or the city/town council members.
Different in MA, huh?
Prolly not so different. My name was on their list at my old address and my liscense has my old address. So as far as they know, I'm still living there. I wasn't going to tell them any different because I didn't want to take the risk of not being able to vote.
So my vote will be counted.
I think they realized they were dealing with PatriotsReign MrsP....and you don't mess with LeRoy Brown or PR.
