This is the type of racism I talk about when I talk about powerful elements within the Republican Party. They are not out there burning blacks in effigy, advocating for a return to slavery, or even advocating for legalized discrimination in schools (though in businesses, many of them do support legalizing discrimination). But, they are actively engaged in disenfranchising people. No one should have to wait in line four hours to vote not in this day, not in the United States, let alone 9 hours. Show me where that is happening in white townships in Florida. This is absolutely despicable, and if Obama and the Democrats win, I hope they get the Justice Department involved in this.

Except for the fact it wasn't "Early voting hours for democrats only".
Early voting republicans had to wait the same amount of time in that town.
It's certainly legal, but it's not racism.
It's in black areas, something that perhaps you were unaware of. But, by all means show me similar stories from other areas, and my issue will be with Florida's election system, not Florida's Tea Party Republican racism.

Can you show me where "black areas" had different early voting hours than "other areas"?
Or do you believe it's possible that "black areas" were more excited about voting early than "other areas"?
I mean, I have no idea why that could be....do you Patters?

I'm talking about the lack of voting machines, not the hours. What's your motivation in continually avoiding what I'm talking about? Are you really missing the point? One way to disenfranchise is to have inadequate number of voting machines. Let's see if that happens in pro-Romney (white) areas.

Oh really?
Show me where in your opening post that you mentioned that. It's also not mentioned in your link....
Changing goal posts much?

In my suburban area of Philly, mostly white , I will likely have a 2-3 hour wait on Tuesday. Normally I go when polls open at 7 am and get there a half hour early and still am 15 or 20th in line ( there are only 2 polling stalls). Due to work, I will have to go after work and likely will wait the aforementioned two to three hours.....We don't have early voting so rain, wind, snow we wait......
At least those people in Florida can choose not ot wait the 9 hours and come back another day or even gasp, Tue on election day.....Polls in Florida are open 7-7.....
Not everything is racial.........

I thought it was obvious. If people have to wait in line for 9 hours, it's because of lack of voting machines in those precincts. What other reason could there be?

Ok, then show us where "black areas" had fewer voting machines than "other areas"
Again....do you believe it's possible that black areas were more excited about voting early than "other areas"?
And if so, how could anyone predict which areas needed more machines?
