I quoted your words on my response. I thought that's what you meant when you said, "I trust that the FBI has very good reasons for their policy". Why do you trust them in their rationale for policy-making? How else was I supposed to read that?

Have to wonder if those who believe this stuff, will ever stop playing the victim.. the "media did it" is a flaccid response to just about everything.
Outside of Fox News it is not a huge story, even though just about everyday it has been featured in many of the main stream publications.. but from different angles. Even during Sandy, Fox News continued its discussion of Benghazi, when about every other news outlet focused to more germane issues of the day.
Most of what Fox is reporting, is characterized by unnamed sources... last week you had Petreus reporting a different view, but much of the news did not report that instead focusing on the famous unnamed sources..

Investigative reporting was around in our younger days Darryl ... that's why sometimes there is a need to research other sources. When I research these stories I take more time to find multiple sources for info then take a look for hidden agendas ... it's more work.
In this case ... these people were very active around the time of 9/11. they have since made extra steps to launder the money better and to distance themselves. Not everyone is buying the distancing stuff - this is just like when the mafia used their money to go legit but the old connections are still there.
Anyways I will finish it by saying anyone who cares to do the research it's all there ... the period of around 9/11 and after the trail is there. Eventually they will get tripped up and/or infiltrated and I will re-open the thread for an I told you so.
