votes with his party 66% of the time......pretty reasonable margin and sounds to me like he actually puts thoughts into his votes and for what makes sense.
kerry votes with party 97% of the time.....so he is actually 'one of them' in that he is deeply rooted in the notion that the democrats are 100% (actually 97%) of the time.
I, for one, am not as trusting of someone who almost unanimously votes along party lines.....tells me the guy does not have his own voice. there is a risk that we will have 2 blind voters.......that is not good for the people of this state

I think it's pretty simple what the Brown campaign is doing with the "One of us" slogan: They're trying to paint Warren as the outsider carpet-bagger, which she is. We have a history of that in Mass including many of our recent governors (including Patrick, Romney, Weld, etc...).
While we're on the subject of moderate, bi-partisan Republican Senators from Massachusetts, this might be a good quick read. Pretty interesting guy.

they don't have to paint warren as an outsider, and why would they want to anyway? outsiders score points for being outsiders.
she is, however, part of the problem of consistent misrepresentation.
she has lied alot more than brown, and she's never been elected to an office

Lied about what? Do you have a ledger showing the tally of lies during this campaign? I assume you're referring to the Cherokee heritage thing. What else?

I've said that Brown many times in various threads. Scott Brown is one of us.He is a died in the wool massachusetts New Englander.
He is an everyday guy that walks and talks like us.
He has earned a full term in the senate based on the last two years.
Liz Warren is a lying carpetbagging communist that has absolutely nothing with the common man in Massachusetts.

- her tax returns.....not submitting them is tantamount to a lie
- her caring about people when she was paid to care about a company in an asbestos suit
- making up repeated lies about browns stance on abortion
- making up repeated lies about browns voting record
two things that immediately pop into my head......what has brown lied about?

That's four things that are very weak. But this isn't about your inability to count.
And using dis-information and truth-bending from Brown ads rules out the second one. Not blaming Brown. That's what you do in campaigns. Bend the truth as much as possible.
If she didn't submit her taxes without a legal deferment, then she's likely looking at jail or big fines. Otherwise, she's just submitting her taxes later than the deadline, which is allowed. I've done it plenty of times. You fill out a form with an estimated. That's not "lying".
What do you mean by "making up repeated lies about browns voting record"? Anything you can specifically point to?
You throw em out.
I catch em.

The Patriots have been overachievers the past two years. It doesn't have the talent to compensate for injuries, and it wins so much because it puts in 99% effort in the regular season and plays with terrific schemes to mask its deficiencies.
But in the playoffs a good team at 99% will not beat emotional, talented teams that play at 100%. It's what happened against the Giants in 2011 and the Ravens in 2012.
How was Romney a carpet-bagger? He bought a house in Belmont in 1972.
Because at the very least it wasn't his principle residence. I'm not sure he still owned the house when he ran for governor because he listed his sons house as his place of residence
