I'm not saying that people out west aren't going to be inconvenienced but, uh, believe it or not they ain't going to declare a state of emergency and activate the national guard and send in the Red Cross to Wyoming and California over the fact that Wall Street was closed and brokers couldn't execute their trades.

Thanks for the geography lesson, Wolfie. Actually the Outer Banks is our home away from home when there's time and the money's not too tight. Hope this time when they put the beach back it's that fine sand not the pebbly stuff they got last time.

There are at present 3 1/2 million people without power in NYC alone, as of 10:22 pm Monday. Nobody's even counted the rest of the Eastern seaboard.

In any event, I don't think anybody's moving election day. I'm sure Romneyites are rejoicing -- people without options and dependent on public transportation have to get to the polls, and have lost a couple more days of early voting.

On the other hand, the more early ballots you've banked, the better off you are in a low-turnout situation -- and that's about 2-1 Democratic.

I don't think NY and Mass are going to go Republican because of this. Virginia, maybe.

Actually the geography lesson was for the New Englanders in here. I figured you mid-Atlantic people knew about it, but I wanted to make an appropriate New England analogy.

Good Lord, people have lost the electricity?!?!? Then we absolutely have to cancel the election which is scheduled for 8 days from now! There's no way, in the history of our great republic, people could ever be expected to vote without electricity!!!

Don't be silly; According to Gallup, Romney's winning in early voting, 52% - 46%. Why would we celebrate a few less days of that?

In U.S., 15% of Registered Voters Have Already Cast Ballots

This talk is nonsense. It happens every election and it's just dumb. Every 4 years we hear people talk about how president so-n-so is going to order martial law, or postpone elections, and my favorite when it's a 2 termer, order a national emergency and be president for life. It never fails. No matter what party is in power, in what year, the opposing group always brings this stuff up. It's flat nonsense.

Don't worry about the election people....IT WILL NOT BE DELAYED.

PatriotsReign would never allow such a farce to happen, so rest assured, it won't mainly because it shouldn't.

Let's get this thing over with asap.

If Romney wins the Obama Media and all of the Obama Groupies will blame the Hurricane then there will be riots, people will burn their own houses down and Movie Stars will move to France.

Thats how the left wing will handle losing, they will not accept it.
