Once again, you set up your imaginary "Us against you" scenario. There is nothing in this discussion that includes this fantasy world you're living in.

The latest NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll shows that just 34 percent look at 2013 as a moment of economic expansion and opportunity; fully 60 percent call it a moment "to hold back and save because harder times are ahead."

Just 36 percent express significant confidence that Obama, after four years in the Oval Office, has the ability to produce a strong and growing national economy.

So, in your world, an NBC public opinion poll trumps actual economic data.

Not surprising.

Of course, this "scientific" NBC poll is evidently the replacement for that "Housing Start" number you always used to harp on. Why did you drop that again?

As you're aware, monthly data is fickle and meaningless. But I truly hope your assessment is correct and we'll be seeing Americans flocking back to work.

Let's talk in 4 more years about your period of prosperity that you believe we have entered....k?

Man you can fired up when you post in my threads shmessy!! You seem extremely competitive.

But you started a thread with fickle and meaningless information... and used the word recession.

Sure...why not? Guess we're gonna see federal, state & local tax increases until our incomes are whittled down to shiit. But heck, at least we'll continue to use less gasoline and our roads will look purty!!

I said MONTHLY reports are meaningless...did you READ that? The gasoline consumption chart included a 15 year trend and the 401k article was a continuing trend as well big fella.

Where exactly did I quote a monthly report Mrs....I mean, Darryl?

Your post is laced with anecdotal information, inow you failed once again.. you criticize another poster, but do the same thing yourself.

New Mileage Tax?

You need to go back to bed Darryl because you're making no sense at all.

I wrote that MONTHLY economic reports are fickle. In my post, I only included one economic report and that was the gasoline consumption trend and it was not a monthly report.

The quotes on new forms of taxes were to show we're heading into a period of tax increases that will affect our economy.

So I'll ask to point out the MONTHLY economic report I included in the OTHER thread. If you can't find it, I strongly suggest you let it go.

And then you stuck in some stuff from a partisan publication, so either you were duped again or just don't know what you are talking about.. none of what you posted had to do with a recession... sorry.
