not as big of a fool as obama

I repeat....this is not a thread about Obama or Obama's birth certificate.
Can you address the thread topic and the question raised? (Not that your evasion isn't speaking volumes, of course.)
too bad....you don't want to read it? then don't read it.......obama certainly is relevant in this conversation, so stop being a baby

"The most difficult subjects can be explained to the most slow-witted man if he has not formed any idea of them already; but the simplest thing cannot be made clear to the most intelligent man if he is firmly persuaded that he knows already, without a shadow of doubt, what is laid before him." Leo Tolstoy, 1897
Oh, look at this BS......more playing around with figures to appear to be something or someone he is not.
As we all know, Romney has said that he has paid at least 13 percent in federal income taxes in each of the last 10 years. It would not have been true this year had he not played with his tax return....and as to the "summary" supposedly being released - that's not an official document and in no way does it prove that he's paid "at least 13%" in each of the past 10 years.

Just when I think we've reached new lows in this election, we start criticizing someone for giving millions to charity.
Who's criticzing anyone for giving to charity?
Good on him, actually. Wish there were more people like him and Bill Gates, Warren Buffet, Ted Turner, New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg, Oracle co-founder Larry Ellison and director George Lucas....all of whom have donated far more than Romney, but that's fine, I'm sure you speak highly of them, too.
What people are being critical of is Romney's playing fast and loose with his income tax returns - juggling things so as to give the appearance of being truthful about his "never paid less than 13%" by underreporting his charitable deductions - something that can be rectified any time in the future simply by filing an amended return.
It's also quite funny to see him admit to paying more than he is legally required to pay after stating, on national television, that anyone who did so would be "unqualified to be president."
In the grand scheme of things, it's unimportant....but wickedly entertaining. It's no more different than Obama saying he'd be a one-term president if the economy didn't right itself - but the conservatives love to repeat that one over and over again - this is just a prime example of how those same conservatives are absolutely no different than the liberals they love to mock and ridicule.

And vice-versa, I'm sure.
Hilarious the demand is met and the howling because it didn't fits the narrative, just goes to show whatever he released wouldn't matter one whit to the haters.
Don't your agree?

Generally speaking, giving money to charity costs you more than if you kept the money and paid taxes on it. If you made $10 million, and gave $1 million to charity, you'd pay taxes on $9 million. If you kept the money, and didn't give it to charity, you'd pay taxes on $10 million. Even if there was such a thing as a 99.99999999999% tax rate after $9 million of earned income, you'd still end up with more money if you gave the charity the finger, and kept the million. The donation itself costs the giver more than the would be the taxes on the donated sum. The government only "loses" whatever the taxable rate of that money would have been. If the tax rate were 30%, then the government loses out on $300k by way of that million dollar donation. If it's 13.9%, then it lost out on $139k. The beneficiary isn't the truly the giver. The beneficiary is the charity. Be it your church, or an organization like the Jimmy Fund or Shriners. Personally, I'd rather see $1 million in the hands of the charity, than I would a couple hundred K handed to the government. The charity will likely do more good with the money.
BTW...
Biden gave average of $369 to charity a year

By Matt Kelley, USA TODAY
WASHINGTON — Democratic vice presidential candidate Joe Biden and his wife gave an average of $369 a year to charity during the past decade, his tax records show.
The Bidens reported earning $319,853 last year, including $71,000 in royalties for his memoir, Promises to Keep: On Life and Politics.
-----
The Bidens reported giving $995 in charitable donations last year — about 0.3% of their income and the highest amount in the past decade. The low was $120 in 1999, about 0.1% of yearly income.
Over the decade, the Bidens reported a total of $3,690 in charitable donations, or 0.2% of their income.
He's another fine example of the public education system, and the future strength of america's next generation.
Just think Drew, his vote counts as much as yours.
Do you understand what a "write-off" actually is, and what it means?

You just want to pull down your pants and we can compare???Get this over with???
I know your a smart guy and I know you work hard but have a little humilty and gateatude for your life and the people in it that made you the person you are today.
You were smart, you said I don't want to work at a dead end job and you made a life for yourself, that's great but not everyone is like you not everyone is as smart as you, so they should have to suffer there whole life and barley make ends meat because of it? because they aren't as smart as you? Because they might have depression or have mental problems or were raised without values and a good work ethic?
You have to teach a man to fish before you can blame him for not knowing how.....
Happy, if you look back at this thread, I didn't put anyone down, for anything. What humility or gratitude did or didnt I show?
All I said was wow, you are selling "desk" people short.
I didn't jump up and down railing against blue collar types. Manual labor, building things; painting, construction, oil rigs, farmers etc etc etc obviously is "harder" work from an exertion standpoint. But that wasnt what you said. If it had been I would have said, Damn straight it is, painting houses was the hardest job (from a physical standpoint) I have ever had.
And yes, I thank my lucky stars every night for how fortunate I have it. I had two parents who worked their asses off to support me and my sister. They instilled those same values in me and I will some day instill them in my children. I was lucky to be born into a stable (emotionally) home, where my dad wasnt a dead beat, or a wife beater, or a drunk etc etc etc.
I don't blame people for not knowing how to code SQL, just like I would assume you wouldn't blame me for not knowing how to do whatever it is you do for a living.
I guess all I expect of people is that they desire to be the best at whatever it is they want to be. If that is a CEO, so be it, if that is a ditch digger, that works to. If the "best" someone can be is 50% of someone else, so be it, as you said we are all different, with different makeups.
Do I want to be a SQL coder? No it was never my plan. My plan was to go back to Indonesia after college and be an Urban Developer and try to "fix" Jakarta. Unlucky (I guess) for me, I was tired of scraping by in college, so when I finished, I took the first job that I could get. Excel, Access, SQL, SAS etc etc etc have been my work life since.

What on earth are you talking about???? What "narrative?" And who's "bitter?"
I'm asking a simple question.
Romney stated that anyone who paid more income tax than they were legally required to pay was unqualified to be president.
Romney just admitted to paying more income tax than he was legally required to pay.
Hence, Romney is unqualified to be president.
As to a "summary," - that means nothing. People are concerned about far more than the rate of interest he's paid or not paid. They want to know how much of it is in off-shore accounts and where his income is coming from.
Is that information going to be included in this "summary?"
