He didn't even give 10% he gave around 5%:

The Romneys donated $4,020,772 to charity in 2011, amounting to nearly 30% of their income.
The Romneys claimed a deduction for $2.25 million of those charitable contributions.

If you were trying to get a job in the private sector and someone damaged your ability to get that job by lying you'd have a case.

That being said, I wouldn't piss on Harry Reid (or most pols for that matter) even if they were burning.
