The left like to play the "blame America first" game and pretend that America and it's involvement in the middle East is the problem in the region.
This is of course, nonsense. The Muslim Brotherhood was founded in 1928 in Egypt. However they were nurtured by the Nazi's during the 1930's they were financed by the Nazi's and the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem met with Hitler and participated int he formulation of the "Final Solution" of the Jewish question, a quest they are following to this day.
First the relationship and how 9-11 was rooted in Hitler's relationship with the Muslim Brotherhood.
How do we know all this? We know it because the Third Reich was a meticulous keeper of records. We have the memos, the planning documents, the budgets, even photos and films of the Reich's spectacularly successful campaign, implemented by the Moslem Brothers, to turn the Middle East into a hotbed of virulent Jew-hatred. We have the minutes, the photo, and the memo of understanding, when Hitler and the head of the Moslem Brothers in Palestine, the Mufti of Jerusalem, shook hands on a plan for a Final Solution in the Middle East.
We have the records of this meeting, in which Hitler and the head of the Moslem Brothers in Palestine shook hands on a Final Solution for the Middle East -- years before the creation of Israel.
The Moslem Brothers helped Hitler succeed in genocide by slamming shut the door to safety in Palestine. This was a key part of the success of the Final Solution. The anti-Jewish riots in Palestine that led the British to cave to Arab pressure and shut off Jewish escape are well-known -- how many of us know they were funded by Hitler? Winston Churchill protested the closing of Palestine to the Jews in the House of Commons, arguing against the appeasement of Nazi-funded Arab violence:
So far from being persecuted, the Arabs have crowded into the country and multiplied till their population has increased more than even all world Jewry could lift up the Jewish population. ... We are now asked to submit, and this is what rankles most with me, to an agitation which is fed with foreign money and ceaselessly inflamed by Nazi and by Fascist propaganda.
Who knows how many Jews would have escaped Hitler if the Jewish National Home in Palestine had remained open to them?
he White House said nothing when Morsi traveled to Iran in late August, breaking Iran's diplomatic isolation, believing (as the Council on Foreign Relations' Steven Cook put it) that Morsi would be a "better interlocutor" between Washington and Tehran. And it offered $1 billion of American aid, in the form of loan forgiveness and new credits, as well as backing for a $4.8 billion loan from the International Monetary Fund. Secretary Clinton Sept. 13 bent over backwards to placate Islamist sentiment, calling the YouTube video "disgusting and reprehensible."
Indeed, the Obama administration is so deeply invested in the notion that the Muslim Brotherhood embodies the future of Islamic democracy that the imagination strains to identify a circumstance that might persuade the White House to abandon its support for the new Egyptian regime. The loyalty that President Obama and Secretary of State Clinton evince for the Muslim Brotherhood recalls the zinger that concludes "Some Like It Hot," when Joe E. Brown tells a drag Jack Lemmon, "Nobody's perfect."
Why, then, would President Morsi bite the hand that is trying to feed it? His undisguised contempt for American perceptions and neglect of diplomats' security are a profound embarrassment to the White House, and fodder for Obama's opponent in the presidential election. Morsi has made it harder, if not outright impossible, for Obama to deliver the proffered aid package, which Egypt desperately requires.
The answer well may be that no one can govern Egypt. Even Islamists have to eat. Since the fall of Mubarak the country's foreign exchange reserves have fallen from $35 billion to $15 billion, but less than $7 billion of that sum constitutes liquid and spendable cash-less than two months' worth of imports.
Again is their a reason we are not leveraging out Foreign aid with Morsi? In street parlance why is Obama Morsi's *****?
[quote]. The attacks in Egypt and Libya were preventable. Why weren't our embassies and consulates in the Middle East properly protected? Why are fifty Marines sent in after the fact? Why didn't we have intelligence in advance? When the mob was gathering outside the Cairo embassy, the frightened staff issued an apology. What is wrong with our diplomatic corps if that was their response? Clinton should have gotten on the phone to the Muslim Brotherhood President Morsi and explained to him what would happen if he didn't protect our embassy. The rent-a-riot, inflamed purposefully by publicizing an obscure anti-Mohammed video, should have been stopped before they got anywhere close to our embassy.
When the embassy did issue their pathetic attempt at appeasement, and reissue it after our flag was torn down, Obama should have made a strong statement immediately, one that indicated that there are repercussions for attacking America. Instead, he allowed the apology to stand (for nine hours) until Romney condemned it. Desecrations of our flag didn't get the president's attention, but electoral politics did.
Obama's incompetence is an outgrowth of a broadly based Democrat ideology that wants us to believe that the war on terror was a stupid Bush idea. They accuse Republicans of exaggerating the jihadi threat. They smear any public figure who is concerned about the global Islamist war with the label "Islamophobe."
"Some guys play in all-star games, some guys don't. I don't know who picks all those all-star teams. In all honesty, I don't know who picks the combine, for that matter," Belichick said. "How does (Miami-Ohio offensive lineman Brandon) Brooks not get invited to the combine? How did Vollmer not get invited to the combine? I don't know. We can't really worry about that. We just have to try to evaluate them the best we can."

There is nothing so amusing as when the rightie know-nothings read one mendacious article, proclaim themselves deep thinkers about the middle east, and spew forth quotes from said article proving conclusively that really, somebody they hate is the Nazis.
The mufti was a butthole, the point I've made here myself a number of times. Amin al Husseini was totally down with importing the "final solution," and the Muslim world echoed such sentiments from time to time in the early days of Israel. That's all a matter of record.
It's also a matter of record that the founders of Israel themselves had some shockingly cynical contacts with the Nazis, based on the incredibly off-base reasoning that they'd move the demographic needle in Israel through the resulting wave of refugees. Do I trumpet that? Do I make a big point of it? Hell no, nor would I. This stuff isn't a game for some of us.
"The enemy of my enemy is my friend" goes a long way in feuds of such reverence and standing. Had the Brits gone over and supported Hitler in a joint war on Stalin, Amin al Husseini may have been a flaming communist sympathizer in short order, with the proviso that in the middle east, they'd have to have Islamic communism.
In any event, while al Husseini gets no reprieve in my book, the Germans funded just about every anti-British Arab group they could find, just as the Brits used anti-Turkish Arab groups to win World War I.
If you want to get somewhere, look at the historical whole of the region; don't play "connect-the-dots" to score echo-chamber points. Try to figure out where the rhetoric can fall by the way, and where it can't.
I don't think al Husseini's grand-nephew ever disavowed him in any way. I do know that he worked on-and-off with Israel from the 80s until his death in the 2000s to get closer to making a 2-state solution work. That was Yasser Arafat. Complain all you want that he couldn't sign Taba, but bear in mind the Jihadis were Hamas, not Fatah. (Oh I know, I know, Hamas is just the local Palestinian MB franchise... until you want them to be the local Iranian/Syrian proxy or whatevah.)
You want to get away from the various historical antipathies? Disarm them by demanding a slightly higher bar of relevance.
The Left Wing in America will always try to find a way to Blame America for everything wrong in the world and within America, they have calmed down a little because their little Poopsie Whoopsie is president but watch their little Signs, Drums, Marches and Hate Speeches come out if Romney wins, all the Anti War Phony's will be back.
Many Crazy Nutcracking Liberals apologized to Japan because we won WWII, friggin screwballs, why didn't they apologize to Germany also, as far as the Atomic Bomb goes if Japan or Germany had come up with it first you would be living in a far different world today (no miranda rights)
