I hate to say it but it seems like you guys are all playing right into the hands of Netanyahu who's got his own agenda and is meddling in US politics in a pretty bold attempt to get his own way - and alot of his countrymen do not agree with him any more than Obama does.
Quote:
Opposition leader MK Shaul Mofaz on Wednesday said that Netanyahu's pursuit of a very public dispute with Obama over Iran was an attempt to sway voters against the US leader in the November election.
Opposition leader Shaul Mofaz (Kadima) blamed Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu for what he called the deteriorating relationship between the US and Israel, in a special meeting during the Knesset’s summer recess on Wednesday.
“Mr. Prime Minister, tell me, who is our biggest enemy, the US or Iran? Who do you want replaced, [Iranian President Mahmoud] Ahmadinejad or [US President Barack] Obama?” Mofaz asked in the plenum.
Mofaz also called for Netanyahu to “stop seeding fear and panic” on the topic of Iran.
“Wars should only be waged when there is no choice,” he said. “We know how they will start, but not how they will end. Where is your judgment? You are scaring the public.”
The opposition leader slammed Netanyahu’s attempts to convince the world to help stop Iran’s nuclear program, saying that the result of his actions was the fact that representatives of 120 countries, along with UN Secretary- General Ban Ki-Moon, clapped for Ahmadinejad at the Non- Aligned Movement gathering in Iran last month.
The Israeli prime minister may order a strike on Iran - but first he will need to face down opposition from the military and his own cabinet.
Israeli President Shimon Peres, in a remarkable display of defiance against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, said Thursday that Israel could not and should not launch an attack on Iran without America’s approval.
The exchange highlighted a broader dynamic underway in Israel: as Netanyahu and Defense Minister Ehud Barak edge closer to deciding on war, people who don’t normally express their opinions publicly are finding it difficult not to.
To date, the list includes former intelligence heads, current military chiefs, and a number of senior officials involved in Israel’s own secretive nuclear programme over the years (though journalists have mostly allowed the latter to have their say without being named).
Some of these figures have come out of the shadows to advocate for Israeli air strikes—arguing that coping with the potential fallout is better than facing a nuclear Iran. But more of them have argued against an attack, describing the ensuing war as potentially calamitous.
“It is no less significant that there is not a single senior official in the [defense] establishment, neither among the IDF top brass nor in the security branches … who supports an Israeli strike.”
The opinions of military people count for much in Israel, where the army consistently polls as one of the most-respected institutions. According to surveys over the past month, Israelis are more or less evenly divided on the question of striking Iran.

Tell the Egyptians if they continued on their path they would lose the billions we give them, and not change the rules of engagement so our diplomats were left vulnerable. That would have been a start.
I also would reward Morsi with a visit with the president while ignoring our best ally in the regions.
What would you do?

I can certainly understand why when they are under a mortal threat from Iran they want to get rid of a guy who is stabbing our allies in the back.

What rules of engagement are you referring to?
I wouldn't be giving them billions in the first place.
But I'm not sure ceasing funding would make any American presence safer.

If "they" is the Israelis I suggest you try reading the article instead of
Obama of course. remember what he did to the Poles on misle defense and the way undercut the Israeli's on the settlement issue trying to remove bargaining chips.
