What an absolutely idiotic post this turned in to be, now we want to blame a specific party for who started which war.. not that congress had anything to do with any of this, as they have the power to declare war..

WWII, Hitler invaded Poland.. yada yada, then Japan bombed Hawaii... does not sound like we were looking for a war, we only got involved when we had no choice. We were a very reluctant country..

WWI is comparable, but not as obvious..
